Words Have Substance
In the interest of the leftist liberal’s desire to bring a socialist regime to this country, many of our unique American terms, vernacular and nomenclature have been butchered. For instance the very term Judeo-Christian is at best an oxymoron. There are probably no two philosophies that oppose each other more in general and basic ideology than Judaism and Christianity. Christianity teaches altruism and abstinence through the virtues of Christ. Judaism teaches a non-belief or denial of Jesus as part of the Holy Trinity and promotes egotism and indulgence. The Jewish Talmud encourages separatists and supremacist values because they believe they are God’s Chosen people. How much more egotist can one get?
Ask your self which philosophy practices the virtues of Jesus Christ. It’s apparent the Muslin Quaran teaches more of Christ’s virtues than the Jewish Talmud, simply because the Muslims recognize Christ as God’s son.
However the Quaran doesn’t promote forgiveness all that much and is rather harsh in their punishment and the Talmud doesn’t promote brotherly love outside of the Jewish faith. And actually does promote the oppression and slavery of any other than the Jew.
The leftist socialist educators have replace the term Anglo-Saxon with the term Judeo Christian. Moreover they have done this with the disingenuous and contrived belief that the intelligent and or higher purpose was to bring a demise to western or Anglo Saxon and Christian standards and culture.
One wonders why anyone would want to kill a society that brought so much to the table of the modern world. Is socialism or communism the path our natural social evolution?
Those Who Represent US
When we elect someone to represent us, that person elected to be the representative should have the character of the very best person in the group that he or she is representing, defending or negotiating for. If not, there is no way that representative will come out of the negotiation with the best interest of his constituency in mind. The representative will only satisfy the needs of the peoples that are lesser in character than that representative. Those better in standards and values within the constituency will be left out or marginalized. As a whole the constituency will suffer, weakening the structure in all aspects of that given group of people.
For instance, if I know that my character is better or stronger than yours and we begin to negotiate for anything I will win… simply because I can exert more fortitude and determination because I will believe in my efforts and you will only be there with half a heart and no honor to stand up for what you believe in. When a person lies and is deceitful we all recognize it. We may choose to ignore it but never the less we see it. And when we negotiate the signs of weakness prevail easily if one is not of good moral character.
It has been a long time since the US has had a decent representative. The whole world knows that our elected representatives are weak and without character or morals and furthermore they are cowards and bullies. In short they are crooks.
Abraham Lincoln said, “This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing Government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it”.
We don’t need new laws, we had the best laws in the world. We need better law makers. We need representatives that have the intestinal fortitude to wield the shield of virtue and the sword of truth selflessly. We don’t need people that can’t manage their drinking and drug habits, or people that can’t manage their finances, we don’t need people that beat or cheat on their spouses, we don’t need shoplifters or people that have been arrested for fraud or people that have done time for assault. We don’t need foreign nationals that are con men, nor do we need people that have risen because of affirmative action with no qualifications other than skin color. We don’t need duel citizens of other counties with split loyalties within the US government. We don’t need a circus of lazy people that are making a living from the special favors of special interest groups or corporate lobbyist, who could care less about our communities. We don’t need people nor corporations that take advantage of the system. We need people that will preserve the constitution. Who will stand up and defend the spirit in which this country was conceived. We need brave men who have compassion and nerve. Men of velvet and steel.
Simply, we just need good honest people to represent us. And every day I see good law abiding people everywhere around us, we have no shortage of decent folks. We just need them in office. I would go on to say that it is hard to find people that don’t have compassion and empathy. But somehow, of the ones that are the bad seeds, a great many of them are controlling our lives with little regard to the outcome of their decisions and with little or no accountability.

You're Confederate ... But Don't Know It?

Most of the political problems in this country won’t be settled until more folks realize the South was right.
I know that goes against the P.C. edicts, but the fact is that on the subject of the constitutional republic, the Confederate leaders were right and the Northern Republicans were wrong.
Many people today even argue the Confederate positions without realizing it.
For example, if you argue for strict construction of the Constitution, you are arguing the Confederate position; when you oppose pork-barrel spending, you are arguing the Confederate position; and when you oppose protective tariffs, you are arguing the Confederate position. But
that’s not all.
When you argue for the Bill of Rights, you are arguing the Confederate position, and when you argue that the Constitution limits the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, you are arguing the Confederate position.
One of the things that gets lost when you adopt the politically correct oversimplification that the War Between the States was a Civil War all about slavery is a whole treasure load of American political history.
It was not a civil war. A civil war is when two or more factions contend for control of one government. At no time did the South intend or attempt to overthrow the government of the United States. The Southern states simply withdrew from what they correctly viewed as a voluntary union.
They formed their own union and adopted their own constitution.
The U.S. government remained intact. There were just fewer states, but everything else remained as exactly as it was. You can be sure that, with as much bitterness and hatred of the South that there was in the North, the Northerners would have tried Confederates for treason if there had been any grounds. There weren’t, and the South’s worst enemy knew that.
Abraham Lincoln’s invasion of the South was entirely without any constitutional authority. And it’s as plain as an elephant in a tea party that Lincoln did not seek to preserve the Union to end slavery. All you have to do is read his first inaugural address. What Lincoln didn’t want to lose was tax revenue generated by the South.
As Northern states gained a majority in both houses, they began to use the South as a cash cow. Here’s how it worked: Most Southerners who exported cotton bartered the cotton in Europe for goods. When the protective tariffs were imposed, that meant Southerners had to pay them. To make matters worse, the North would then use the revenue for pork-barrel projects in its states. The South was faced with either paying high tariffs and receiving no benefits from the revenue or buying artificially high-priced Northern goods.
Southerners opposed pork-barrel spending. Their correct view was that, because the federal government was merely the agent of all the states, whatever money it spent should be of equal benefit. Their position on public lands was that they belonged to all the people and the federal
government had no authority to give the lands away to private interests.
Northerners had announced they would not be bound by the Constitution. What you had was the rise of modern nationalism fighting the original republic founded by the American Revolution.
So, regardless of where you were born, you may be a Southerner philosophically.
On a personal note:
I live in the North having come from the South and the hate and prejudice from the Yankees towards Southerners is far more obvious than I remember it was from the Southerners towards the Yankees.
